how

The professional development program is directed for artists and curators who can apply by an open call process. An international jury reviews applications and selects candidates with AIR 351.

The program favors the integration of residents in the local cultural community, creates mechanisms to promote networking and seeks to develop opportunities for the production and especially presentation of the work of each resident. In addition to the use of individual studios, residents are invited to use communal spaces such as collective work areas and rooms for public presentations. AiR 351 provides curatorial and production support, organizes studio visits and field tours and develops public activities.

Residencies for artists can last up to 12 months while residencies for curators may be shorter (1 month minimum).
